Blacks are trying to break through in hollywood, but because of our small population, stereotypical representations in film, and our small buying power both in the political economy and box office, racial capitalist oppression continues to block our full access to the system to tell our stories the way we want them to be told; in other words, this chart details how and why black autonomy is blocked in film

It's so incredibly difficult, there are only really like 6 or 7 media companies right now from what I know.

We need to follow the Korean model. They've been putting together fantastic projects for years, and they don't have giant budgets, just good stories and talented people to tell them. My favorite film movement right now.

That kind of was the point of the chart...not to just look at it, but to discuss the reasons why the white capitalists hypersegregate hollywood the way they do..I don't post shyt just to look at; let's engage the numbers and draw multiple conclusions
