I bet on the Cavs last finals. The oddmakers get it wrong more than you would think in the finals. You gotta realize that oddsmakers are trying to make money. The average gambler doesn't really analyze the sport, they just think "this team has more stars so they're gonna win"

It's easy to get gamblers to bet big money on golden state even if the odds suck, cuz they can be tricked into believing it's a sure thing

What are the warriors gonna do against a

Love/LeBron/korver/Smith/Kyrie or Frye/love/LeBron/Smith/Kyrie lineup?

How much defensive impact can Draymond have if he's glued to a big man 25 ft away from the basket?

I think this is gonna be a really good series.

KD's versatility will allow him to guard Love and I think that's gonna negate a lot of what the Cavs do without TT.

I can see them doing what they did in 2015 and letting LeBron be on an island against his designated defender and stay home on shooters and watch him get tired.

What's interesting is that the Warriors defense is better than the Cavs, but the Cavs offense is better than the Warriors and now the two are starting to normalize to the point that the gap between the Cavs/Warriors offense is just as big as the gap between the Warriors/Cavs defense. Their net ratings are now within 1.5 of each other.

Higher offensive rating in the playoffs, which happened last year as well and people passed it off as just being the East, then they had a higher rating in their series. Net rating was within 1.5 of one another yesterday, I haven't checked today :yeshrug:

You can't just look at their ORTG from the playoffs though, the sample size is far too small to draw conclusions like that (nevermind the fact they don't play the same teams, so you're not gonna get an accurate reading), especially since the Warriors have played the TWO best defenses in Utah and SA. The Warriors have the better offense (by a fair margin), and the better defense (by a HUGE margin).
