So if the vaccine works, then why not just take it and be confident in your safety and stop trying to force it on others that don't want it.

So you saying that you are suicidal? :ohhh:

Links to alcoholics and diabetics putting a strain on hospitals and paramedics?

FastStats

Alcoholism can factor into heart disease, cancer and accidental deaths. Time to ban alcohol and fast food.
Heart disease alone is double the covid death count

Also, what happened to this whole rhetoric that if everyone was vaccinated then the disease will go away? Why does the goalposts keep shifting? So the only thing the vaccine does is keep the hospital bed count low?

Obviously anti-vax folks are morons. They aren’t experts in anything related to Stats, Math, or Science but want to base their livelihood on random edge cases, a lot of which are false :unimpressed:

At this point though if you want the vaccine you can get it. Let those anti-vax folks hold their own nuts. If the concern is hospital availability then we need to start designing a system of allotment percentages. Basically a hospital saying “We will care for MAX this amount of patients who have COVID and are unvaxxed” if they hit that max and you are unvaccinated :manny: hope those horse pills work out for you.

Time to open up

Come on breh this is disingenuous. You’re not wrong, but scale has to matter. I’m sure the strain on hospitals from COVID over the past two years is much more so than anything else that we could classify as “preventable”

Because the virus continues to mutate amongst you stupid shyts who don’t have a vaccine.

Protection against Delta was highest, however, among people who were both vaccinated and had survived a previous COVID infection

Nevertheless, vaccination remains the safest strategy against COVID-19, according to the report published in U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report.

"The evidence in this report does not change our vaccination recommendations," Dr. Ben Silk of the CDC and one of the study's authors told a media briefing.

"We know that vaccination is still the safest way to protect yourself against COVID-19," he said.
all that to say nothing. :mjlol: Previous Infection > vaccination. The difference between previous infection + vaccination and solely previous infection was rendered negligible by researchers

29-fold lower in California and 15-fold lower in New York in those who had been infected but never vaccinated.

— 32.5-fold lower in California and 20-fold lower in New York in those who had been infected and vaccinated.

But the difference in the rates between those last two groups was not statistically significant, the researchers found.
