i remember bein 14-15 years old and i got accused of breaking into this catholic school next to my apartments and the police came to question me at home... woulda did that shyt at school if it weren't for the fact that my moma hadn't intervened and stopped it. but even with her there i was shook as hell... i can only imagine having some shyt like this over my head. in the 80s. in nyc.

Saw this joint at an art house cinema joint. Ken Burns knocked it out of the park, especially with all of the lead up footage and his ability to capture the time. Some good 80's NY footage in there. It's almost a different format for Burns, but he still kills it. Can't wait for his Vietnam joint to hit.

The worst part is that the city, the prosecutors, loudmouths like Trump still can't admit what they did was wrong
that's why i can't even watch this all the way through I'm so pissed. it's one thing to mistakenly prosecute someone but these kids were willfully railroaded and the people are still walking around like nothing happened

im watching this shyt right now. im up to the part with the confessions. DAMN WTF! if they didnt do shyt, why are confessing so confidently? at least with 1 of them i see him mad nervous and u can tell he is lying, but some of them look like they are saying the gods honest truth and one of them even said he was grabbing her t*ts! WTF! i kno the cops put the pressure on them and forced confessions but damn i dont get it
