I don't know which rule is crazier. Imagine celebrating a missed field goal to win the game. Would be even crazier if all you need is one point and it hits the upright and bounces back into the field of play.

Yeah CFL has some relic rules from when football/soccer/rugby were basically the same game
In rugby you can't pass forward so kicking it up for grabs is like a long pass
