Because he is constantly making these utterly absurd statements about atheists which have no basis in reality. He also often makes this unrelated non sequiter about atheists believing "nothing exists".

So all I'm asking is for any reason why he believes his supernatural deity exists. Doesn't seem to be an unfair request given all the bullshyt he spews.

Atheism is nothing but non-belief. There are no tenets, no ideologies unless someone attaches them. Marxism-Leninism shouldn't be so attached to atheism anyway. Lenin had no problem with the religious in the Workers' Party. M-L just sees religion as an outgrowth of suffering and that it would wither away (like the state) out of uselessness as communism approached.
