it's wild how Keisha can't even rely on Kevin to help out with his nephew. He in his room playing video games with another chick that her mom is tryna adopt. Her moms shoulda dildo slapped Kevin til he pitched in to help more.

But why he gotta help her though? He's a teenage boy who want to do teenage things, not babysit. I don't blame him. She chose to have the baby, not him (he was against it anyways).

His mom shouldn't force anything - him having lack of freedom was a big reason why he started to act out in the first place.

the writing at the dinner scene was so unbelievably bad. I’m not even sure what they were trying to convey with it. They were trying to act like ol’ girls family were “proper” and boujie but they were cussing and dropping n-bombs like it was nothing.

Bakari might have a mental illness. That's one thing they ain't really touch on that is ignored in the hood. A lot of folks who keep popping off and getting locked up are dealing with mental disorders. And they self medicate with drugs.

Became ok with the show once I accepted the reality that this show is way more "empire" than "the wire" once I understood it would be more a love drama with suspense I could stomach it.

I'm not feeling the fact that every woman on this show is uber aggressive and seems the only signs of feminine energy came from the Trans people. Sure that was done intentionally and I ain't feeling that shyt. Quit trying to replace women!

Need Tiffany to carry her strong jaw ass on and let emmit and Keisha be happy. They were destined for each other since her father died and he consoled her.

Hope kev stays with moon girl. He needs a nice girl for a change.

The bacari story line is getting dumb ain't nobody piling up crimes like that just floating around getting hood sympathy. He either hanging out with other low lifes or on his way to the county. If the goal is to eventually redeem his character going to feel unauthentic considering he bodied one of the shows most important characters.

And I know it's bad jemma lost the baby but Jake seriously needs to bush her for real.

Seems they are attempting to revive the Brandon character through shad. It's too blatant though.
