I'm so tired of bakari's character from the first time he was introduced killing ronnie outta nowhere.

this nikka has been a habitual couch surfer for like 4 seasons now.

so maisha, gemma, gemma's dad are all "moving" out of chicago for essentially no reason other than to trim the cast. wish they'd get rid of bakari. I've never liked him as a character.

if they was gonna bring someone back, make it be kevin at least. was papa even in this episode? also, what up with esquire from ATL showing up as a worker in smokey's???? if they bring in TI, they will have most of the cast of ATL on this shyt.

Honestly feel like they should have just wrote Vic Mensa, his sister and lala out also, they serve no purpose. Just wasting screen time. Someone needs to tell Lena waithe not all her friends gotta be in the show.

also, feels like papa is barely in the show as well. Not sure what they’re doing wiht him

Papa, Tracey, preachers daughter (I think she’s leaving…I don’t be paying attention to her scenes lol) can all go. And Emmet mama is hanging on by a string, Jake was too but now he can get caught up in some Reg bullshyt and die a proper death at the end of the season.

they can still trim down a lot of the cast. Emmets mom kind of has no storyline. It’d just be weird to write her out when Darnell i still in the show, and he’s actually a good character.

I wish they'd do more with darnell. he used to be one of the best characters in the show. but once he married jada, he really doesn't get involved much. also, WTF happened to all his other young kids with that woman he lived with when his character was introduced.

it's not even the renewals, it's how fast Showtime renews it.

The last time we kinda wondered whether the show was coming back was what, season 3?

Showtime renews this show like they got Sunday Night Football.

I only watched the first episode and haven't gone back

this show is officially ass to me. It was already ass a few seasons back, but this show comes off as being a Chicago "hood" version of Empire. I feel bad for Lynn Winfield for having to even work a gig like this. And Alex Hibbert was smart as hell for leaving.
