I thought when Jake was pulling out of the driveway with Jemma that a car was gonna T-Bone the whip.

That's because the show is so terrible and nothing but trauma porn.

That scene with the men sending off Jake and Jemma was one the nicest moments we've seen in a while with black men.
The brother beaming with pride seeing his lil bro. The Mayor calling out to Jake to be a gentleman and open the door for Jemma.
The father lovingly looking at how beautiful his daughter looks and seeing them drive off.

Next scene is Douda beating the breaks off the father with a cane and leaving him in a pool of blood with labored breathing.
Awful.

Jemma and Jake's relationship was foreshadowed last year. everyone saw it coming. It's not out the blue or unnatural

If by foreshadowed you are alluding to Jake and Jemma "hating" each other(when they in fact really liked each other), I'll give you that however poorly executed it was. Based on this season, the only reason they like each other is that Jake showed up for her school interview when Kev said he didn't want to do it and Jake aligned more closely to Jemma's "woke" nature after the police brutality incident. At no point have I heard them talk about how they always liked each other which would have tied in last season's interactions.But that doesn't address Jemma's Pops being on board with her dating Jake. Let's say he wasn't aware that Jake and Kevin were damn near best friends-I can't think of too many single dads that would be ok with that child dating so quickly after watching Kevin jump out of her bedroom window. Now if she decides to sneak around on her own afterward, I would find that to be very plausible. But the fact that the father is on-board with her dating Jake given his home situation(living with his brother & the brother's tranny gf) is ridiculous. Even if you try to sell the "oh she's dating the Mayor's "son" angle, that clearly doesn't add up considering her pops is aware of Douda's street connections. Nothing about that scenario is natural or believable

trig supposed to be a street nikka, but has full access to the mayor

the mayor rolls around the streets of chicago without any police detail

at least they brought back one of emmitt's baby mommas. I been wondering what happened to them for the last few seasons.

when kevin and papa was singing at the beginning of the episode.....that shyt was funny as fukk tho

I got a feeling either Emmett or Trig gonna catch a L of epic proportions in the finale

Either shyt goes south for Emmett dealing with his wife and that other nikka. Way this show goes I wouldn't be surprised if Emmett pulled an OJ on both of them

Or Trig ends up taking the fall for Douda killing old boy and winds up losing everything including Jake
