Just watched Casablanca for the first time (on Blu-ray, no less!). That's the type of classy and gorgeous looking movie Hollywood couldn't make these days if they tried. I can't say it's my personal favorite or that it would even make my Top 10 of all-time, but it's a great film with great atmosphere, dialogue, characters and set pieces.
Citizen Kane is another one I've never seen before. I suppose I'll give that one a shot next.
What are some of your favorite films from Hollywood's golden age (late 1920s - early 1960s)?
