i would let DJ walk and replace him with tyson chandler then use the rest of the money on better role players like afflalo, millsap, maybe even drew gooden who balled for the wizards and another perimeter ball handler or big. hell, marco bellineli will be a FA and he's cheap and still productive.

but i'm reading reports saying the clippers are planning to offer DJ 5 years 100 million. they're gonna have to trade or do something to get rid of hawes, barnes and/or reddikk to clear up space to sign better players and strip doc of his GM duties so he can focus on coaching.

last year when the warriors got bounced out the first rd, who here actually thought the following year they would be 67 wins and in the wcf. and a coaching change was all they needed. now this clippers loss is not just about Houston. we have been complaining all year about this roster. you got starters that should be coming off the bench. you got bench guys that should be retired or just not built for this team.doc as gm is just not working. I don't know if he has people in his ear or what. but after cp3, blake and Jordan this team needs a remix. barnes and Reddikk aren't starters.
