I could see 2+ billion, I see the point OP is making
Someone gonna make a statement

If the Bulls sold, I would imagine they could go for upwards to 2 billion too (probably around 1.5)

Why not a LA based team?

:what:

Y'all delusional man. NY Knicks are the highest valued at 1.4 B, LAL at 1.35, and CHI comes in 3rd at 1 B

How is the NBA going to get a franchise to Seattle which they want does LA really need 2 teams this is/was a perfect opportunity.
It would be ridiculously awful press for the NBA if Sterling's comments cost Clipper fans their team. They have no intention of punishing the fans for all of this.

Seattle's gonna have to wait til 2032.

the NBA seems to like to expand in 2 team increments I'd really like to see Seattle with a team but since no one is going to be allowed to move their it seems as if expanison is the only option. You heard 2032 for that?

2032 is when the Wolves' arena lease expires.

The last thing the NBA should be aiming for is expansion

they would have to prove damages were incurred from his behavior

Plenty of interviews, videos, and the like of Clippers players talking about how learning they were working for a man that viewed them as inferior effected their mental and emotional state.

Honestly its the only shot they have at redeeming themselves after not taking the opportunity to boycott when it was there.

I doubt the Minny/St Paul area would let the squad go. Seattle really should have a team maybe some other team will move their.

And if one of those teams went up for the sale, they would sell for more than their evaluation

Not sure whats hard to understand there, Im sure there would be several bidders on any of those franchises
