This thread will evolve as more info is found. We've already seen Titanfall's creators talk how they'll use it. Forza 5 will use it as well so your driver can race on your behalf even when your not online.

That last feature, its gonna be used by almost every game in the future (the ones that could take advantage of it)
And the first new game to take advantage is Kinect Sports: Rivals. This info can't be found anywhere else on the Net. This the type of stuff I'll be delivering when I'm ready to go solo :umad:

But until then. Here is the scoop. And its cool. In forza, it would learn how you controlled the car. In Kinect Sports, it'll copy YOU :leon: It'll learn your movements, your playing style. Then THAT will be online for your friends/etc to play against. That could be pretty awesome if implemented properly and why wouldn't it be? They talking about the virtual you will do everything including your facial experssions which we already seen videos of that.

There will be online events/competitions that dynamically change on the daily so if you loved K.Sports but was getting board with the lack of online being really a focus? No longer bruh. This will make K.Sports Rivals the first "Motion Sports Game" to have an online mode that is more than basic verses with no meaning to them. NO real reward. Its reward time :blessed:

Kinect Sports Rivals will be heavily online focused unlike previous versions which had very limited online. This version of Kinect Sports will also have a focus on TEAM PLAY. Not all details are available right now, but There will be 3 factions you can join up with after you have proven you are worthy.

This news may not be a big deal to the majority of you, because most of you have never played Kinect Sports to understand why this is big news. What this news translates to is Kinect Sports Rivals will be one of the biggest most popular games on the system. Especially since its the only one right now that exclusively uses motion controls. Now if you think K.Sports isn't a big deal?

Everytime Microsoft boasts about the cloud, Sony looks smarter & smarter for buying Gaikai last year when they were having financial troubles. Gaikai may not be as big as "Windows Azure" is right not, but Sony now has their own cloud service that they can build on & invest in for the future.

I'm sorry, but you have it twisted. Sonys cloud can't do none of this stuff :manny:
Dead serious, no fanboy mumbo jumbo. Sonys cloud isn't designed to do the things your hoping for, sorry. Sony isn't even that type of company to develop a cloud. Sony didn't even wanna go online last gen bruh. They was a hardware company. Microsoft makes software. Well, you don't have to hear this from me.

Sony: "It's not the decline of consoles, it's the decline of a generation" | GamesIndustry International
"If you're a PS3 or a PS Vita user you can still enjoy cloud services. We're developing along that schedule, not necessarily trying to tie in with the PlayStation 4 schedule"
What Gaikai will be used for is to stream PS1/2 & at a later day PS3 games from the Cloud to PSvita and PS4. Otherwise those games wouldn't be compatible with either system. Thats the plan, thats the GOAL. Right now they know for sure they can't get PS3 games to stream yet. They working on that. They are nowhere near using it for PS4 games now or never. That would require sony to make advances its just not capable of. If it was, they'd of made there own cloud service now wouldn't they :patrice:

Any cloud service provider can do pretty much that if they really gave a shyt. You don't know how computing works and passing off your opinions as facts is always the biggest hole in your (terrible) debating.

The only grandiose thing about the MS cloud is the scale of and better use hardware, alongside better integration with Microsoft tools. No, that doesn't mean it will magically make the Xbox One more powerful than a PS4, but in terms of Web apps and managing it will be better than the average Joe.

It's one a level of Amazon EC2, Google App/Compute engine, so it's not a mind blowing thing.

Trying to have the cloud as some holy grail of gaming is just bringing a knife to a gun fight.

It is easy for a game to be on the all time selling list when it is packaged with a console in a bundle.

Cloud gaming just brings us back to always on consoles. I dont think it should be used unless absolutely necessary. Like for example with online multiplayer games.

When your single player game Needs to cloud....................

Thanks for still trying to inform people. The "cloud" is just being used as a sexy marketing term in a country with suspect broadband capabilities in 2013. "Clouds" have been around forever people...stop falling for marketing tactics making it seem like this is some huge breakthrough in technology...It's not.

I bet the people living near @hexagram23 will enjoy the benefits tho
