Would fans really buy his tough guy act anymore though? A lot of y'all say they wouldn't care but what's that based on? Had he been competitive maybe but he just got destroyed so bad both times

In order to be taken serious as a pro wrestler, you usually have to portray a character that has some level of toughness...no? Usually wrestlers tell each other I'm going to whoop your ass , that's a tough guy act

Don't be dumb...Pro Wrestling is different than movies... Kayfabe is dead obviously, but perception matters.. it's why Bart Gunn was dead in the water after getting KOed by Butterbean, that stuff matters on a subconscious level of a fan because pro wrestling and reality blur the lines sometimes and on the flip side, it's what makes Lesnar legit is because we know in real life he can whoop someones ass.
