you guys should know that that board chased away one of its only black members, toofer spurlock, an african american writer of fiction. one of the most popular members of that board, sleigh, was, in toofer's words, "oppressing" him. i'm an ex-boarder at that place and was banned for being too radical. there's a strong case to be made about the racism there, and how it's disguised in love of black culture and progressive politics (hey i supported obama as well, but i don't feel the need to pat myself on the back about it and pretend i get a black card).
you guys know what "hipsters" are right. the word doesn't mean anything anymore, but that's what that place is filled with. a bunch of skinny white boys who listen to REAL RAP NOT MACKLEMORE and think that makes them official members of the black community. most of the younger members are probably naive in their worship of this place, but the older ones definitely have a tinge of condescension in their love. and their love is something you don't want.
not going to post here or anything, don't worry about this cac, i've got my own place. i just wanted you guys to know what's up. and yeah several of their members have infiltrated this place already, including mcwop23 and delgriffith.
