....how can I get my hairline that sharp bro?

^^dude seems like a cornball but that tap tap block technique has my hairline lookin extra sharp. It seems like common instinct is to cut and drag the clippers away from the line but that's not how you do it.

Honestly, its gonna take a lot of practice and fukking up at the end of the day. I started cutting my hair as a sophomore in college. I'm 28 now and its a piece of cake.

That tap tap tap technique tho.. :ooh: :wow:

Walk us through the picture broham, I see you got a couple outliners and a Oster but what are the other clippers (name/model)

And you're right about the angle, I noticed in improvement in my line once i started arching my wrists and doing quick 'dabs' on the line. But whats your method?

Clippers:

Oster Classic 76 - It has a strong motor and removable METAL guards. I use this for the heavy cutting.

Andis Masters - Has magnetic plastic guards. I use this more for fading.

Andis t outliners (2) - I use it for lining.

As for the angles, peep that video I posted above. That helped me a lot with lining. As for cutting :yeshrug: Put the guard on and cut that sunnuvabish. If you want it more even, go against the grain. You can cut with the grain too if you want. But I pretty much only give myself ceasers tho. You can try fades if you're risky.

Make sure you oil and clean your blades too.

Y'all n*ggas have genuine loyalty to your barber?

On some real sh*t, the same dude been cuttin' my hair since '07. No-one else. Everyone I say this too says it's weird but I couldn't trust another n*gga with my hair, even just for the general taper fade.

That just me?
:what: I thought this was protocol. Been going to the same barber for 10 years and he knows exactly how I want my hair cut, whether I'm just keeping the goatee or going with the full beard. Plus he knows not to force my shyt back. Dudes who jump ship to different barbers continuously are risking their hairlines because you got different barbers pushing your shyt back.

Together off Amazon these will run you around 80 bucks, so if you were willing to break that 100 budget you could even throw some of that extra money toward a 2nd set of clippers just so you can experiment and see which you like better. I'd go the internet route cause they will be much more expensive if you try to get it from a beauty supply store

Low ceasar with my beard dark a little. Lookin like I'm from Philly. Gonna shape it up and trim the beard down to match

I love my barbershop. The guy who cuts my hair also helps me with my radio show and we do a underground hip hop video show. Also everything goes through my shop. If you need DVDs, socks, hats, fukk it even food. These brother walk up and down myrtle av selling fish or chicken sammiches and fruit punch for $4. One time I was starving and nikkas walked in right on time. One time I was low on socks and my nikka bootleg berry came in with tube socks. Then one time I was like damn I need a scully. Here come bootleg berry

nah, you might not want top fukk with that barbershop food someone made at home and brought in in they water cooler.

Just go to the barber and buy whatever they use.

No way you're going to accomplish that under $100 tho. :usure:

Andis Masters cost about $85
Amazon.com: Andis 01557 Improved Master Professional Clipper: Health & Personal Care

Outliners cost $60 retail ($40 on Amazaon)

You can't skimp on the equipment. Then once you get the equipment you gotta adjust it. But I wouldnt trip on the money cuz it pays for itself real quickly.

When I was in GA I still kept a barber once I got a career outta college. But one time dude wasn't around and I needed a cut so I just did it myself. When I went back to him he was like "Who cut your hair?" I was like "I did" :jawalrus: He was like "Not bad at all." :leon:

Homie, if you got ebony skin you need this in your life.

I use it for Razor bumps. But it works really well with treating your skin.

A lot of the products you see in CVS/Walgreens is catered towards White America.

But black soap is FUBU status (for us, by us). Produced in Africa and does miracles on your face.

Read this:Benefits of Black soap | Benefits Of

:leon: what's it smell like tho :leostare:

In the shop now for my weekly shape up and shooting the breeze session. My beard is wild as hell from me not giving a fukk too tough. I may want to get into doing my own line up and trimming my own beard. What's good clippers just for beards and line ups?
