It's kind of interesting how the narrative of this fight seems to be the contrasting styles.
They didn't make it into a USA vs the Phillippines thing like they typically do with Mexican fighters and Puerto Rican fighters.
They didn't make it into a race thing like they did with the Holmes vs c00ney fight.
Maybe they're avoiding that sort of controversy.
But underneath, I do feel like a large part of the population rooting for Pacquiao are doing so because they 1) don't like Mayweather's arrogance and 2) don't like Mayweather because he's black.
And sure, a lot of us like to root for the underdog and Pacquiao is definitely that. But I think this fight ends a lot like the Holmes/c00ney fight ended.
And that is....Pacquiao is a great fighter, but Floyd's technique and skill is superior and it's going to show.
That said, I'm rooting for Pacman to pull out the upset, but I wouldn't bet on it.
