Toxic masculinity isn't a problem.
Toxic feminism, which creates such bullshyt as "rape culture" and "mansplaining" and a million other things which makes being masculine damn near a sin is a much, much bigger problem.

And look, don't misunderstand. I'm absolutely not saying that women don't have real problems that need solving. They do.
But a lot of men feel like the are being forced to apologize for being a man. A lot of chics out here trying to take that "grunt" out a man only to complain about how bytch-made and beta these dudes are today.

Considering its a Black man raised by his Black father, my instincts incline me to think the issue some men have with this has more to do with their own lack of a father figure than toxic masculinity. Then again maybe that same issue is part of misguided masculinity. I'm sure dude isn't laying up under his pops like that, and the photo is more symbolic of the relationship they have with one another. Most folks aren't trippin off of it though.

There's an Asian based photo collection were a father and son took a photo every year with the father holding his son even as an adult. I thought it was touching, same as the OP photo is touching. I can relate as I love my father. Hurts me to see him getting older and unable to do what he used to. Too many young Black men can't relate to that.
