So before I get started on this let me just say that this isn’t meant to slander anyone or anything, but because I know people like to get in their feelings then if you are offended at anything i say in this blog then stop reading and keep it moving. Anyways Urban Tumblr, better known as thecoli.com is what I like to call a meeting ground for individuals who like to discuss different topics on events happening around the world and in their own neighborhoods. Now while it’s open to all of different ethnicity, it’s safe to say(or assume) that it is mainly dominated by blacks. Why am I writing this blog? well it’s no big secret that most forums around the web, particularly ones that like to talk about politics and the news, love to go out of their way to make it known they don’t welcome blacks to their forums. I find it hilarious that other groups like to talk about and pick blacks apart but claim to not care about them. As a frequent visitor of thecoli, I’ll tell you right now that it’s not without its trolls and bashers as well. But outside of the trolls I find thecoli to be liberating. May it be you need a good laugh, you looking to talk about something informative, or you just want to talk about random happening. You’ll find like minded individuals who share you like for music or distaste in certain celebrities, but all in all its a place I encourage all people to visit and post to once in a while. Stay out of the lockerroom as it’s not for the weak heart, you been warned.
