if they are both dirt poor it would be tough for both of them and if they are both upper middle class it would be easier for both of them. the color that matters most in the country is green, not white. that white redneck from the alabama backwoods living in a trailer does not have much more opportunities in life as that black kid from the projects. if anything the black kid has more scholarships and opportunities because of affirmative action. now if the white kid is from the middle class and the black kid is poor, hell yea the white kid has more chances. but if the black kid was the middle class child of 2 lawyers versus the white trailer park kid with no daddy and a crack head for a mommy, u gonna tell me the white kid still has a better chance?

I'm not trying to rewire the brains of white people, I've fully accepted that White people don't want to be seen as equal to Black people.

My plan is to continue to educate Black children to have racial pride, value education and learn to love Black people and the skin they're in.

thats my issue. you cant list all the odds stacked against them and tell them how they aint shyt in this country and then give them hope in the same breath. the ratio of negativity to positivity in this forum is 9-1. im not saying ignore the bad stuff, but you guys spend SOOO much time talking about the bad stuff that on some level you, not on purpose, sabotage their chances of having sufficient pride and confidence. it works in all walks of life. glass half full type of thing. thats what worked way back when during civil rights. even the music was just about love and positive messages. now its about listing the negative things. too much negativity poisons the soul brehs. give these kids some positive vibes and watch how they can flourish instead of just listing everything they have working against them at all times.

I don't go out telling kids that white supremacy is to blame for everything, I wouldn't dare. Majority of the things I discuss here when it comes to race wouldn't be discussed with kids.

The Coli is filled with adults so I don't see the need to sugar coat and gloss over the truth. It's my opinion that all Black adults should have a good understanding of white supremacy and how it operates, otherwise the tactics being used against us will go unnoticed meaning we won't actively be able to fight against them or even know what they look like when we're faced with them.

I would love to see kids of color flourish, and I play my part in making it happen.
