great gif but that remake was ass

I think we had this discussion breh. I fukked with it. It was different enough from the original and had its own agenda, it gave a legitimate reason for them to be in the cabin to begin with and why they stayed there, and it was bloody and gnarly as fukk. It kept the spirit of the original while doing its own thing which I respected and crafted a strong female lead as the heroine, which was also a nice change of pace. The movie didn't hold a damn thing back :whoknows:

TBH I'm completely out of my element when it comes to horror flicks. I think Jason X was the last horror flick I've seen in theaters. In general I don't really fukks with them(Ima still watch for the sake of the club tho). So I'ma delegate any kind of power or choice to whomever wants it.

I got no issues with Scream. If @blazn101 makes the thread he got it. It'll probably be comedy watching some of the acting on that shyt looking back, horror flicks tend to end up as comedies as the years go by

I dont see how watching movies that everybody has seen would make a movie club more popular...whats the point then if most people have already seen it? That was a problem a few weeks ago with the club

You see how the shyt was when we watched End of Watch? Or how we always get cats saying "Man y'all picking wack movies" etc etc. Mostly cats just want to talk about a movie they saw or have seen and share memories about it or review it. We got a lot of film geeks on here but a lot of just regular film fans too

Personally my 2 cents is I'd prefer less known/indie/ type movies I never heard of but it's hard not to admit that the club been falling off as of recent weeks. It's a shame though cause outside of this week() and maybe down periscope I've been presently surprised by the quality of these movies despite never having never heard of em.

@HHR or @Tuaminator or maybe @Uncle_Ruckus because he's trying to get into a lot of horror flicks so maybe this would be his chance to find something he hasn't seen and suggest it. Or @blazn101 pick for Scream works too. I hate to say it but I told @flyry that we may need to pick something a tad more mainstream to juice the club and move units (shoutout to Hov) and Scream may do numbers
