Of course the ATL
yeah great win for the Spurs but I think it's still should be a little concerning the game was this close and neither Curry or Thompson scored more than 15 points. If just one of them got close to their season average, they win the game. Curry shot 1/12 from 3

I never understood this line of reasoning. The Spurs held them to a season low in points and defensively dominated the game...why should SA get penalized/criticized for winning the game? Who cares if it's by 1 point or 10? They won the game

I just don't understand why some people can't admit that what was wrong with steph and clay last night was that they were dee'd the fukk up...Tony Parker locked steph down...that's why he was off...not like he was just missin wide open looks...face it, steph can be contained:manny:

Spurs the first team this year to pressure them both behind the line and not let up on a single possession...and that's how you beat em....the other 3 on the floor can't beat you...
This...you gotta do it every possession...u let up one possession and end up down 10 somehow...most teams in the nba aren't that diligent...if they were things would be different...but the spurs are...next game might be a worse loss to SA

Always said this. It takes a lot of discipline to beat them. Because Curry will make some shots that'll discourage you, or he'll make your PG get caught up in an individual battle that he'll win every time

breh... Warriors missing their #2 player, lots of games in a short time frame, while the Spurs were at home AND on days worths of rest.

And yall acting like SA blew them out. The Spurs damn near lost that game with all the advantages they had. You gotta be a major fool to think that game highlighted anything about "how to stop Steph". Pop stole what he saw from the games vs Boston, Detroit, and Miami and while SA did well a lot of it was Steph missing a lot of shots and not abusing bigs on a switch like he'd normally do.

When Iggy comes back I hope yall bump this thread :wow:

Oh yeah?

Until this game he had not had one of his 3 point attempts blocked all season long

Danny Green blocked his 3 point attempt and it resulted in one of the Warriors numerous turnovers.

But let me guess, Curry had such an off night the ball magically drifted off of Danny Green's hand after it left his hand? The Spurs had nothing to do with that? :mjlol:

Rudy Gobert blocked his three a few games ago and Durant caught him before the buzzer expired in the 2nd to last OKC game. I don't know what his three getting blocked has anything to do with his shot being off. Danny is a GREAT defender and I'm not saying the Spurs didn't play excellent last night defensively, but they alone didn't force that performance to happen.

Why can't they just lose a damn game without the Coli tryna make it into some grand indictment on the state of the Warriors as an organization and shyt :mjlol:

YES THEY DID. Did you watch the game? :dahell: And Durant didn't block one of his three attempts he blocked a kid range shot. There's a big difference

Are you 12 years old? Do you really think Steph is some kinda basketball cyborg that is the only player on planet Earth that is immune to tough defense? Is that what you think?
