Yeah, it's done with AE CS5.5 but i only do basics things with it, so I can't tell you if you should update to cs6. Honestly you should try it with a little animation after seeing the Lynda tutorial I have in my pro. The software is easy and doesn't require a top notch PC (mine is 4yo, only the graphic card is quite new (9 months) but I have 4gb of RAM which is the minimum for this kind of thing)@ Drive & Coliwork Orange
you used after effects? If so, how is it? I just got the CS5 torrent (I know I know, I'm waiting on a good CS6 one). I've always wanted to try it out.

If you wanna know, the main differences can be see there : Buying guide | Adobe After Effects CS6
But for what we doing here, we don't need cs6 IMO. The only real thing seems to be Mocha being a native tool (it's a standalone tool with CS5.5).
And that's what you can do with Mocha :
mocha & After Effects: Tracking a moving T-Shirt on Vimeo
Reminds you of SoMe's work for Justice's Dance ain't it ?
But the Adobe tracking tool is efficient enough for me, so I'm good.
