For instance something as simple as the $10.00 trans. fee and the 1% commission service charge can cost you a couple dollars on your trade (short), thus leading you to not see a substantial R.O.I.

If you're looking to bag thousands every trade, it's highly unlikely that you'll see that outcome.

I tried to take a look at your portfolio/investments but it's not there.

Exactly, especially with a portfolio like his that isn't strongly diversified.
