that it made the flow look real basic and there were long gaps in between one line to the next to make it flow on beat.On the bright side it wasn't mumbling and it was well enunciated.

I think he means the MC and the beat had good synergy The world is yours is a great example the beat didn't outshine the lyrics and the MC's flow since they complimented each other nicely
