A crock pot, Foreman grill, and if you have Haitian and Asian heritage like me.... a Rice Cooker are all your best friends. Fortunately the rice cooker I have doubles as a slow cooker. I just made yellow rice (regular ass white rice with seasonings, mixed veggies, and if you want... throw some small sized cooked shrimp in there), plus some steak on the Foreman :banderas:

A slow cooker is a bachelor's best friend! My best recipe:
1 packet Ranch dressing
1packet Italian Dressing mix
1 packet Brown gravy mix
2 cups water(3 cups if you're going to add veggies)
1 Small pot roast
Various small veggies if you want: carrots, mushrooms, potatoes

Take the 3 packets and mix them in a bowl with the 2 cups of water and pour the mixture over the roast and veggies and put on slow cook for at least 10hrs. It's really that easy! I usually put it on before I go to work and when I get home:cook:

How to Cook a Delicious Steak on the Stove
1-Remove the steak from the refrigerator and allow it to reach room temperature. Room-temperature steaks cook more evenly than chilled steaks. Season the steak to taste. You can use a dry rub or marinade, or simply season it with salt and pepper.

2-Heat 2 tbsp. of olive oil over medium-high heat in a heavy-bottomed saute pan or cast-iron skillet. Heavy-bottomed pans retain heat well and distribute it uniformly. Heat the oil until it shimmers and place the steak in the pan.

3-
Cook your steak 10 minutes or until it has an internal temperature of 130 F for medium-rare. Cook the beef for 12 minutes or until it has an internal temperature of 140 F for medium, and 14 minutes and an internal temperature of 160 degrees F for well-done. Turn your steak over halfway through cooking.

4-
Remove the steak from the pan and cover it loosely with aluminum foil. Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Finally got a Crockpot not too long ago. Made some Chicken Parmesan Soup with it.

Let's just say this is only the beginning. :obama:
