A lot of yall nyggas must have a bunch of kids.

Haven't done mine, but I doubt it'll be more than $500. I'm not married, don't have kids, and don't own a house, so there's not much I can think of to write off other than what I pay on my student loans. But then again I don't have to worry about child support and shyt, so .

alot of kids? nah,even so it's not like each kid is equal in the amount u get back...

u get 3k per kid up to 2 kids under the age 16. Any kid after that it's $500-1k depending on age and income. I got 2 kids so 6k of my refund comes from them. i also claim 4 through out the year on my W4 and barely get anything taken out per check (i make about $1800 every two weeks and take home about $1600) the amount i get back at the end of the year exceeds what they take out. Im married so there's no child support. If that aint winning....

They are paying extra throughout the year...you are doing it right. This is the only year I ever had a return this high and it was done deliberately.

Naw I dont pay extra.I claim 4 dependents throughout the year so my check dont get hit with hella taxes

Its the credits that give you a decent return

Earned income credit/2 kids/daycare credit usually gets me around 10k every year

Some of yall just got some good ass paying jobs and are in higher tax bracket thats all

They are paying extra throughout the year...you are doing it right. This is the only year I ever had a return this high and it was done deliberately.

Im not paying extra. I claim 4,barely get $130 taken out of an $1800 check,only get a total of 4k taken out from taxes each year and get 7k+ at the end. How's that paying extra? Tax Credits is what gets you that nice slump (IE Child credis, EIC,ect.)

If I just enter my chase information ( I only worked at Chase 1 month last year) I get 1.2k back in taxes...

if I enter my chase + Verizon information I owe 1.7k in taxes ( cause I hardly filed exempt outside a few big paychecks last year ) ..

can I just file my Chase this year, collect the 1.2k then file the verizon next year with my next year taxes and hopefully break even ?

Nah I don't recommend that at all. Get that taken care of asap. You essentially owe damn near 3K out of your Verizon wages and the fact that you only worked 1 month in chase might trigger an audit of some sort.

I owed 2.3k last year and now 1.7k this year

I dont know bruh.. Im honestly shocked at this tax return.. I only filed exempt on a few big paychecks, but I guess in sales thats all you need since they supposed to tax you 36-42% I was collecting them full checks
