so you stick the magnetic collar stays in where the usual cheap plastic/aluminum joints that come with it

then you position the magnets inside your collar.. you can pretty much put them anywhere on the length of the magnet depending on how tucked in /buttoned down you want the collar to look

got one this coming wednesday and I'll prolly go with shirt/tie/tie bar, slacks (obviously) and some cole naan oxford boots that are my go-to joints until I cop another pair in another style
