Right…there’s so many stories, and movie genres to still be making these black trauma/struggle movies. Especially with the talent that’s in this movie smh. They could’ve made a black love musical, or a fun coming of age story.

This was better than the first film and the Broadway play and that’s really a fantastic feat. They added songs and remixed a lot of the play and also added songs from the first movie. Just wow. I will be seeing this at least a few more times in the theaters. Fantasia just might get a Oscar.
