Just finshed listening to the interview, pretty dope :ehh:

Ciffnotes...

50 offered to sign Foxy to G Unit around the the time Jay became president of Def Jam for 3x the price Jay had. But Foxy refused out of loyalty to Jay.

She made a song which was gonna be a major crossover success and Jay was gonna drop it off at Z100 (A pop station in NYC) and they was gonna close down Flatbush and Church Ave to shoot the video for it, but she lost her hearing the day after she recorded the song so it never happened. Also a family member of hers died of cancer around the time this happened :damn:

Jay was the first person she told that she was deaf.

The interviewer asked if Jay showed her the tech on the tour with large professor :troll:

Its funny as the way she reacted was like :dwillhuh:

Her family is close with Jay's family.

Jay ghostwritten one of her songs.

Shes good friends with Lauren Hill

There's several points in the interview where she gets all :to: and :sadbron:

She was really upset about those tranny/std rumors that was in the headlines a couple of days ago.

She didn't talk about Nas in this interview though :wtb: I was curious to hear some stories about The Firm days.

You don't consider the NYC hip hop scene in the 90s the golden era?

She was on the "I shot ya" remix, had a feature on IWW, etc, how was she NOT apart of the golden era? I shot ya remix and Affirmative action are classic songs.

Unless you consider the 80s the golden era when :krs: and them was rapping.

nikkas should start asking her how many rappers besides Jay, Kurupt and Ross that got the p*ssy. Then I'd listen to her interviews.

I know we are suppose to dismiss the recent old allegations that re-surfaced as internet gossip.......but, she never denied what was written. Only that she didn't say it and that the story was unsourced/hurtful. I wish they would have asked her if she had a sexual relation with Jay when she was underage just to clear the air. It was cool he mentioned her being with Haitian Jack at 14 and all but that should have taken a backseat to the obvious Jay question. Considering there is a song she made that seems to confirm it. She even said herself that some stories are true except for certain aspects. The interview was ok though but I really don't feel she did what she set out to do in regards to the allegations.

I dont know how people continue to sleep on the combat jack show

I love this format alot better than the complex tv style. I didn't know they were still going to make them this way. Glad they are. I would love to see them get Suge up there! I think they could make it happen to.

Unless you consider the 80s the golden era when :krs: and them was rapping.

Specifically, I consider 87-93 (MAYBE 94 the Golden Era).

And not just NYC scene. The West was bubbling back then to.
