Btw...I'd like to thank everyone here at the coli for inspiring me.
Seriously...This forum got me through many tough times in my life and I feel a lot of the words I've exchanged with all of you have helped me in ways words simply cannot convey.
Like I was actually getting choked up by all of these responses daps and rep...like you'll never believe how happy i am that this has all happened.
I remember when I told my mom and dad about it and they were overjoyed. And I promised them that I would be able to help them out when the time came....
Other than that...no matter what you've got to think positive.
Adversity will come in your lives but don't let adversity come over you.
A homeless guy (coincidentally from Pittsburgh like myself) said it to me. We could be in a war torn country...we could lose both our limbs and have no way to get anything done...but we're here.
Life is a blessing...and I'm happy to be blessed with the chance the spread that positive energy to others. That's all I am and who I am at the end of the day.

And there is no such thing as failure in business. nikkaz can cake off of failure. Case in point: During the economic downturn, smart ngaz invested in debt collection and repo srvcs n blew the fck up. Even when u "fail" God makes a way. Any time spent complaining is time away from u picking the lock to the gate in front of the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. That's why I don't like to see the smart ngaz complain on here, I used to do that shyt n missed out on a lot of opportunities.
And the mfkas who are dumber than u are so scared of life that they'll hate on u n be mad at u just because ur NOT scared like them. Pay em no mind n get yours, cuz if nikkaz is scared they can go to church. Just wait...I'm actually going to write a story on the experiences I've had here in the past three months back here in NYC alone...and yeah, I was thinking about it like that...
This is from yesterday after work...
Still got a long way to go...I mean, I'm doing insurance now (agent, producer, account representative)...yesterday I had to be in the office for a proctored exam which is a prerequisite before I take my state exam next week...but once I pass that state exam I'll be officially licensed and will receive my official certificate of authority from the state insurance commissioner to negotiate, solicit, sell life, health, and variable annuity insurance products since it is state regulated. Once that's all said and done, I'll be appointed. Honestly, besides the potential to make good money alone and finally transition into something solid, the fact that I'll be able to have my insurance license and be licensed to sell in other states without taking the test again is nice. I don't plan on being in New York forever but having something like that to my credit is nice.

If you need any advice or someone to talk to about the testing process or becoming a Financial Advisor let me know man. It's the best thing you will EVER do in your life. Trust me, I've never met a miserable Financial Advisor...

It's always inspiring/refreshing to hear about another mans plight for success & ambition finally paying dividend (financial pun intended) after a long slog! My presence on here has been scarce for the very same reason (chasing bigger better things), hopefully by summer 2015 (while you balling budget free lol ) I'll be looking to share that very same accolade that you're currently experiencing fam!
