The concept of Québec fascinates me

What parts of Montreal ya'll from. I grew up on the South Shore in Brossard but live in Pierrefonds now. I like it, mostly English speaking with a big Caribbean community.

What I find great about Quebec is that it has long provided opportunities for Haitians, Cameroonians, Rwandans, and others to immigrate, since speaking French earns higher points in the system.

So far in 2025, Cameroon ranks as the third most common country of origin for new permanent residents.

My nephew's soccer coach is Cameroonian.

Haitians and French Africans are good productive citizens who integrate well while still staying close to thier cultures from back home.

Huge difference from Toronto and Vancouver where Pajeet and Ramkumar are shtting on the streets and groping women

Grew up on in Laval, currently living in the east end but planning to move in the north or south shore can’t do it anymore with the constant construction.

Pretty much lived there and dated someone there for a year and what will say is that Quebec people can be pretty racist to black folks who live there and their accent is frowned upon by actual French people. People in Canada hate Ontario, but there’s a layer of annoyance for Quebec because a lot of people would like to live there since it’s much cheaper but you HAVE to know French in order to work and have any kind of social life.

I loved visiting Quebec(still do when I'm there) when I lived in GTA, the Broussard area is easier to navigate if you're English, but I like the whole metro. It's more affordable and yeah it's not over run like GTA has gotten.

Coincidentally the architecture and layout of Montreal reminds me of Detroit except with more mass transit. Detroit was a french territory at one time(like New Orleans)

I like NDG, very underrated area with alot of Caribbeans. Used to spend alot of time there when my wife lived near Vendome metro.

I stopped driving in the city, too many cones and potholes. If I need to go downtown, I just drive to Lasalle, park near Parc Angrignon and walk to the metro station.

How are the Pawgs in Quebec?

Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver have some of the best PAWGs (and women of other races) I have ever seen.

I visit Montreal every almost year (I live in New England so it's easy to drive there) and currently in Toronto on vacation and goddamn....sooooo many PAWGs and bad bytches everywhere it's overwhelming.

Interestingly, there is very real animosity between Ontario and Quebec and they really don't like each other.
