The horror elements are decent. The film was hard to take in places though.

They would be better off if they didn't try to pretend it was based on the real life "true story" of a pair of verified charlatans. They bookend the movie with this crap, and spend a lot of time on backstory where you're supposed to be impressed with their life and history.

Just left. Caught a matinee. Sooo overall it was ok. Slow start (I didn’t realize this shyt was 2+ hours) and they basically chicken out on everything they foreshadow early in the movie.

Horror was ok, tho I notice a lot of movies now days are doing the “small object grows incredibly big and limbs start cracking” trope. There are a few good scenes tho, to be fair.

Climax started good but fell flat. The resolution to the demons was weak, which sucks because the set up was intriguing.

A better movie could’ve been made if they weren’t so dead set on following the lives of these people like it was a legit biography.

I wonder if they gonna try and pick up with the daughter and make a spin off.

No more spin offs please, just dead this franchise and start a fresh project.

Saw it last night. I liked it.

The again, Annabelle was the only other movie I saw from this franchise.
