Tell me it wasn’t Valak as the main demon?

I liked the one with the witch and priest The Devil Made me do it
Valak is my favorite! Such a regel character that they can't do shyt with. The spin-off was absolutely horrible. No way this can be that bad.

Movie just leaves a lot to be desired imo. Had an interesting setup but does not really deliver considering it’s supposed to be the last movie and the conjuring has its own cinematic universe of sorts.

The main demon lacks identity (literally), motivation isn’t ever really established beyond a surface level and it’s defeat is very mundane. I don’t even think they follow the established rules set by the earlier movies either (regarding exorcism).

Dope movies. Didn't see the last 2 but went in spoiler and trailer free. Mushroom Annabelle was a highlight. 2025 been a great year for horror movies. 8/10

Mid-range for the franchise, but I did enjoy it. I think up until the third act it had way more potential, it felt like it was really set-up to bring things full circle and give the franchise a true ending. Instead it pretty much gave them a happy ending and passed the torch for the next 5 movies.

What was all this shyt about this case devastating the family to the point of ending their business? :russ:

It wasn't as bad as some people are making out. It was WAY better than the third movie, but the OG Conjuring was always gonna be the best out of the franchise. Unlike the others, it had folks shook at my cinema which made it a fun experience. The second movie literally being the second best was also great. You can feel the lack of quality when James Wan isn't in the director's chair.

The only thing that annoyed me was who was supposed to be the mysterious entity controlling the demons in the house?? They never explained it at all.

I can’t get to theaters but I may get a break if I tire him out and have mom/sis babysit next weekend, might sneak out and go see it
So I did just this after tiring him out at the park!

This movie is too long, they keep being too damn wholesome for me with hints of scariness but minimizing the demon, I feel like they’ve been doing that lately (I want them to go more into what happened, communicate with them or what the demon wants). I’ll have to rewatch cause I couldn’t focus the whole near three hours but no regrets.

I’d love to see a fictional tv series to go through all the artifacts in the room though (and make some more), like they can do 1 hour or two parters

I think it never gets over the hump. Or past stage 2.

I think the casting and potential was there

I’m never one to complain about cgi but the monsters were too cgi for me
