Another thing that's understated is how PC is really tailored for office use to get the most out of your money. Yeah, you can put together a build to power a bigger area/room, but going wireless lessens some of the appeal of gaming on PC, specifically a gaming PC. And it is more expensive to go wireless and in my opinion is just better suited for wired connections/monitors.
That's not the case for console... again, I'm talking about gaming here. I know you can have a HTPC with wireless keyboards and mouses and all that, but don't you want all that wired on PC? For most normal living spaces/areas, it's just cleaner with a console.
