The Traps of Unified Korea

Their run ended before it even began. I wonder what happened to them. Mikey's Premiere Politics mixtape was fire and iirc at one point be was supposed to sign with Currensy?

And then Chuck was supposed to produce a mixtape for Currensy that never happened :dead:

The industry chewed them up and spit 'em out.

Mikey was never signing with Spitta--he couldn't.

From my understanding their label had them tied up and they decided to drop mixtapes, then, when that wasn't working, they just stopped.

Once shyt got figured out, they finally dropped When Fish Ride Bicycles and Grandmaster Special Deluxe two years ago.

More rappers from their era fukked up by going from blogs to mainstream. shyt didn't even work for Wale.

Spitta had the vision even after getting burnt.

Not really.

They made a lot of money tbh, no bullshytting, fronting for the camera fake money. Sweet spot of the game when they were independent, records sold somewhat and they got tour money. They just got sick of it.

I never really fukked with them. They were okay.

"Wasn't working" was a strong word.

But, I heard all them "Sir Michael Rocks" era tapes and they had heat, but, made no noise in when blogs were still bigger than Twitter.

Hell, this might be my favorite Cool Kids track;

I made it sound like they went broke :laugh:

Chuck's cousin been more poppin' than them for a decade and he introduced us to him (Boldy James).
