Nothing dumbed down about The Corner. It literally felt like a documentary. That's how realistic it felt. The dialogue, the chemistry, the acting, were all on point.

There is nothing "dumbed down" about The Wire.
Two of the main characters who are supposed to be born and raised on Baltimore are played by British actors who...at times do a horrible job hiding their British accents.
