The Cosby Show is the greatest Sitcom of all time

You can watch it today, and it is still so relevant and still outshines current Sitcoms
When you watch some of these shows as a adult it’s wild what you pick up

Dale Nancy John red corn and Joseph

The Jefferson’s with the 2 Lionel’s

Florida being the reason they couldn’t get out the slums and how hypocritical she was

Martin and Pam was just sexual tension (all the alter ego’s was super attracted to Pam)

Al and Marcy you can pinpoint exactly when Marcy in real life came out as gay

And for super old school benson he came in as a butler but ended up running for senate and those around him couldn’t handle it because he could win and he was black

So many things you pick up on

The Chi (South Side)
Theo was the only boy so he had a special place for both parents. Cliff, even though Theo stayed pissing him off, was super proud of Theo. I think Theo and Denise were their favorite kids.

Sandra was the gold standard but she was very independent and didn’t need them too much.

Rudy was the baby and honestly Vanessa and Theo raised her.

Vanessa was the middle child and attention starved and a whiny kid. I think she was the least favorite cause she was always doing dumb shyt and trying to be sneaky. She couldn’t understand why she didn’t get treated like Theo or Rudy who both got away with a lot.

I love the Cosby Show still watch it with my kids every week.

Above the fray.
Quietly, some of today's biggest companies started off this way.

Off the wall ideas of college students/grads with parents who were their first backers.

Exactly. When your parents got bread you can afford to take risks...you can afford to fail sometimes multiple times. There is something about the Huxtables that differs from the Trumps, Zuckebergs, and Bezos' etc of the world. Can't quite put my finger on it though :mjpls:

I bought the entire Cosby Show DVD set 20+ years ago with my first job as a teen. My first paycheck I bought it lol

But before the Pandemic they were on TBS and Nick at Night alot everyday
Bought the DVD box set when they started pulling it off TV, thinking it would never be on TV again. Got so tired of changing DVDs, I just bought it on Amazon too :russ:.

Vanessa was a fukk up too but this was probably the worst thing she ever did.

Marrying that janitor nikka on the fly was a blessing in disguise. A 30 year old who owned a house and had military benefits with no kids:wow:

Claire and Cliff wanted her to be in a struggle relationship with another broke Freshman or end up with a single father like her sister
I think you’re forgetting the show. They never got married and she ultimately called off the engagement. Cliff and Claire (especially Cliff) wanted her to marry Dabnis. Even the grandparents liked Dabnis.
