Theo has the biggest arc and progressed the most. This occurred to me after Malcolm died. The show captures his entire journey from poor, "lazy" student to studious dean's list college grad. First ep is "regular people". Last ep is him graduating.

The best part of rewatching old eps and seeing all the black talent that got their starts on here. I saw Stacey Dash, Angela Bassett, Alicia Keys, hell, not even getting a start but the brotha who played Elijah Muhammad in X
Not just the ones who got their start, but paying homage to some legends as well like Dizzy Gillespie, Sammy Davis Jr., Judith Jamison (mentioned her because she died recently), Roscoe Lee Browne, Nancy Wilson. Even old white stars from the past like Danny Kaye played Rudy’s dentist in an episode.
This is after being out late "kissing" ol boy in his car and getting sloppy drunk at her friends house (same girl that was the leader on the Bmore bullshyt) and trying to start a thot singing group and before bringing home a whole grown ass man at 18. Then she got everybody liking him then flaked. Oh yeah and she snuck into an R rated movie her parents wouldnt let her see at 11 AND was up all night scared after. Hit a parked car while driving too. None of the other kids are seeing Vanessa's track record.
