Whether you actively using these devices or not...They're tracking our movement and screen time, our sleeping habits, listening to our conversations, taking note of what establishments we visit.... This shyt didn't just start happening with covid nor has covid accelerated it. If anything, there's less data to mine if ppl sit home.

From my own experience in the last 5 years, I used to get google surveys constantly on my phone. Like $50 worth a QTR, because I travel alot. Now about, 6 months into covid, I get a survey every few weeks.

Trust that I get how technology works. I get all these things have been happening for a while. My point has been that people have been put into a position now more than ever where they are more compliant to data mining that's been happening. Which goes to the point that @Pazzy been trying to make, people are combing over the fact that these things are happening and that the real power is in the people. If there was some sort of acknowledgement about what's been happening, we'd have a chance to stop it but people rather pull the wool over their own eyes for the sake of feeling comfortable.
