I quit the airline industry in 2017 and got a call this past Thursday with the name of my old employer in my caller ID. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message but I think they're getting desperate.
They are beyond desperate.

they pressured the CDC to cut the recommended quarantine time in half. Airline industry is shook.

I think it might be true but misleading because there's selection bias.

The average asymptomatic person only gets tested when they're forced to, while the majority of asymptomatic don't think they have Covid and aren't getting tested. There's no true way to get at how many asymptomatic people are out there AFAIK. I think scouring the sewage was one option but it is more about prevalence than anything else IIRC
