Wherever whores go.....
If you have a credit card only use 30% and pay it EXACTLY on the due date....sometimes paying it off early earns penalties and even if you pay in the grace period it still looks bad........also Transunion, Experian, and Equifax are for different parts of the country so if you pay something down you have to make sure they are reporting to all 3 bureaus cuz you can pay to one bureau and have it deleted but it can still be on a report from another bureau. Each one has different debts but they share a lot.

That is so completely false :mjlol:

:comeon:its not....do your research. I just attended a 1st time home buyer class and a lender came in and said that......keep paying them cards during the grace period or early and enjoy that room your renting or your parents house :umad:

If they say so I guess it must be true. Thx for sharing that info

At least google the info before you post. I cant stand people giving up advice and being wrong.

Paying Early:Paying your credit card bill early is perfectly acceptable. As long as your payment is for at least the minimum required, then you’re good to go. Your payment will be considered on time and your account will remain in good standing (or won’t become more delinquent).

I did this for about two months, and saw a drastic increase in my score. Now, I try and pay off my balance weekly, and usually have an end of the month statement of $0. It also makes it much easier to keep track of your spending, and to use credit cards to only buy things you can afford.

"If you consistently pay off your bill as soon as you receive it, your balance will remain lower. If, on the other hand, you continue to charge up the card between receiving your bill and paying it off on the due date a couple of weeks later, your reported balance will be higher. This increases the chances that when the credit bureau takes the snapshot, your credit utilization will be higher."

Thats true but if you're trying to get a house they can still see it
