Having some time to think about it. WWE announced their deal with AAA, when it found out about the AEW/CMLL partnership... Nick Khan joking talked about buying AEW talent who were waiting for their contracts to end, making it seem like a training promotion... but now post Wrestlemania, that buzz has flatlined.
WWE is still the top promotion yes, but even with a plethora of companies trying be at WWE's level, WWE feels less inspired because a good portion of the roster knows that if Kid Rock and Fred Durst wanted to have a WWE Legends Match, they can bump folks off the Wrestlemania Payday because of how Celebrity-driven WWE is now.
Its a interesting case study.

Do you know what TKO is? It's just a WWE/UFC joint partnership, there's no reason why Endeavor would have writers on hand. It's up to the WWE not Endeavor to find writers.Because they purchased a wrestling company where that is a required job….

The thing that got me fukked up is Bron, Melo and Tiffany were all down in NXT with similar pushes. All 3 won a bunch of titles and were in featured matches, main events, etc..
Fast-forward to the main roster.. Tiffany is a champion, Bron is on a super push with Heyman and Melo is losing random matches and teaming with Miz in the midcard. Wild.

Melo in AEW is a layup. He has the work rate, charisma, can be a heel or face, and already known. he’d get over fast. So many potential matchups would be 
Putting him in the Hurt Syndicate would be money. I’d fantasy book his debut to come out during a HS match or promo battle wearing a mask, attack the opposition, then reveal himself. He’d get a pop TK thought he’d hear for Butcher and Blade.
I can see him getting that Swerve journey and becoming a made man. If some people in AEW surf TSC, yall gotta start whispering this shyt to TK.

Nope, That's still the responsibility of the WWE. It's up to HHH and his yes men to hire writers. A board of directors aren't going to be paying attention to that kind of stuff. Vince would since he was a wrestling person as well as a board member. If any board member would hire writers it would be Rock.
