TRiple H gets final call on all talent contracts, rather that be releases or signings. None of this would have happened if Triple H hadn't signed off on it.

That's debatable as you could make that argument for others before Truth and after him that will expire as well. Depending on you ask, that might not be right and they're not going to be the public outcry that Truth did.

It can also cause tension in the locker room if those other talent don't seem the same public support or outcry that Truth did or even support from their own fellow wrestlers.

They should have just stuck to it as now the run the risk of fan outcry everytime a talent gets released that they feel don't deserve it.
