Bianca might have been the last women's champion to get really good booking. Rhea barely defends the title when she holds it, Liv was better off without the title than with it, Bayley's most memorable moment was winning the title. I guess Nia was booked well, but it was just waiting for Tiffany to turn on her and cash in.
For some reason, the writers work less hard when women win the title. They think the storyline is them being champion and give them nothing else to do. It also applies to the guys somewhat (look at almost everyone who's held the WHC since Seth lost it).

In 2022-23 maybe but that certainly doesn’t apply to 2025 Toni Storm who’s a bigger star than she was a year ago due to her wrestling so often. Iyo was on fire and the most popular she’s been and they decided to bench her with the belt to showcase Hunter’s new toy. Tiffany isn’t benched but she hasn’t done shyt since Mania either. Those women need to be in the ring wrestling and continuing to get over. HHH and some of his supporters have an old ass 40 year old mentality that the champ’s appearances should be “special” but if that person not Hulk Hogan or Brock Lesnar level, they’ll just mean less and less every week
