The fact that Triple Kbended both nights of Summerslam with something we already saw a decade ago pretty much bar for bar :dead:
Said it in the thread, he’s just repeating his father-in-law’s playbook. Fans and marks praised him for continuing on with Cokeboy’s storyline and now he’s straight up using his shyt because he’s a fraud.

Failed a Cena heel turn, which should be all you need to know about his creative talent. Can’t book Roman right post-Bloodline. Despite some filler, Cody hasn’t really been affected, but I feel it’s only a matter of time before the tides change.

Klansley books moments and can’t do it long term.

He's Kathleen Kennedy? Nostalgia, remakes and unexplained nonsense.
Nostalgia: Overusing legends.
Remakes: Booking.
Unexplained nonsense: Teasing the Hurt Business reunion and then ultimately letting all of them walk.
wwe is str8 dookie

aew too :skip:
It's less damning for AEW since the owner is the definition of a fan turned promoter, but there's zero excuse for WWE to be so creatively bankrupt right now. The fact that people are praising HHH as being some new innovator when he's clearly playing Vince's greatest hits is laughable.

He did a few things early on that were different/refreshing but you're right about this past year or so. He's done nothing but play Vince's greatest hits and he hasn't done it well.

I don't want people to make the mistake and think I've forgotten about Vince's racist booking and stereotypes in the 80s. But it's correct to say that Vince saw dollar signs with Lashley and Bianca and the New Day and pushed them accordingly.

-Triple H benched Lashley, Vince had him winning titles
-Triple H has booked Bianca pretty poorly compared to other women
-Triple H saw the nuclear heat New Day was getting and did nothing with them

You don't have to qualify this, because every other promoter including the current ones get a pass on this stuff.

Nobody should be getting passes I think that somewhere Vince realized "hey, I can make a lot of money!" and let that inform some of his booking in his later years.

Vince was smarter in the sense that he knew the WWE audience wasn't like the UFC audience. Vince was still gonna do BHM and MLK Jr. packages and he likely saw all the little girls who would show up to RAW dressed like Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair. Obviously, Charlotte.. the tall white blonde was his favorite but he did have a little more balance than Hunter has shown. This isn't me suggesting Vince should be back or that he was a good man. He's an evil b*stard himself.

My point is this current group thinks all wrestling fans are MAGA fakkits

With Vince it's a case of 2 things being true. Vince was clearly the better businessman but his time also passed. HHH pushing Naomi doesn't kill the racist talk, because white men have always had no problem choosing black women over black men. The reason he completely killed Bianca's careeris because she was the only obstacle in front of Rhea. Notice how HHH has morphed Rhea into a Chyna/Bianca hybrid? She has all the aesthetics of Chyna and plays up the strongEST like Bianca.
