Tiffany fell into that same category Alexa did where everyone thought she was good on the mic because she didn't stumble over her catchphrases. It's become one note. But I'm not going to get hyperbolic about it, I'm just going to state some facts.
Tiffany's Barbie gimmick made a lot of sense and that's how she got over. But the push has been wild considering how green she still is. Is she athletic? Sure. But there's more to in-ring than doing a few flips. She's been really mid in this title reign.
That's where the "Jade isn't ready" argument falls apart. Jade has aura. Jade can talk on the mic. Jade is a powerhouse and has improved with her power moves over the years. She should be booked like a machine. Like a terminator. Like a Lesnar type in a woman's body.
Going 7 minutes with a green wrestler like Tiffany and losing clean was disrespectful.
Reading the YouTube comments is like bizarro world. Everyone's treating Jade like she's The Great Khali and Tiffany carried her to a good match. You would think Jade botches all the time, can barely move, has no charisma, and doesn't understand how to tell a story in the ring. They pointed out the fact that she put Tiffany's foot on the rope to set up the spot, and I'm not saying it looked good. But wrestlers botch all the time and do weird things to set up spots. They were just fixated on that one thing, like they had to dock points off her performance.
Tiffany can wrestle, but she's not Roxanne or Lyra in terms of talent. She has no memorable promos besides the one that got her in trouble. If you compare her to any of the younger women coming up, she's behind all of them. She's not Stephanie, she's not Giulia. She just has the look. So, what makes people think she was ready to be champion all year and Jade has no talent?
