She remember stuff that she didn't even experience just because she altered the past
Why I have a feeling Mekhi Phifer may have been in on her pops getting shot

There is a Korean drama with almost the same plot that has been completed called Signal

You guys should watch it...its really well done.

Could be a good procedural if they're going that route

IIRC didn't they say in the 1st episode they found 2 bodies when her pops got killed?

The 2nd guy was the serial killer

Thats why the murders stopped in the OG timeline but have continued since she saved her pops
