Long before Kendrick Lamar, The Game, 50 Cent, Eminem, and Snoop Dogg it was all about The D.O.C. In my opinion this cat is Dr. Dre's best protege of all time (yeah, I even like his 1st album more than Snoop's). The No One Can Do It album can be compared with any of the great debut albums in all of Hip Hop history.

The D.O.C. was a lyricist's lyricist, a writer's writer and an emcee's emcee. Dude just had that "it" factor that it takes to be great on every level in Hip Hop and as an artist. The D.O.C. in my opinion is the definition of the perfect emcee because he has the voice, flow, delivery, rhymes and this album captures all of that. With Dr. Dre's production and The D.O.C's writing and voice, it was a perfect match.

Even the album cover is classic. Back when I was younger, I use to have one of those African medallions that he's wearing on the cover. :wow:

Oh yeah? That's what's up :salute:

Yeah, that's one of my favorite parts of that song, it was cool how they added that part in the song.

It's amazing how 80's this album is yet it still sounds so fresh :blessed:

This is a great interview from a while back with The D.O.C. He's speaks on a variety of things:

Yea, c'mon
C'mon, yea, c'mon

Let's take a trip but not of the physical
Sense of direction on a kid who's artistical
Through a gallery of thoughts, of course it's dope
Pay it tough like the name on my rope
Watch it be weary instead of steppin wit the boys
A musical massacre of inadequate noise
By the new authority 'cause a majority
Of peers who hear will award superiority
To those who know you knew now it's inevitable
I laid the track and it's simple unforgettable
Time had told me better than gold, I sold
And in front of a group of soul is a new episode
:ahh:

Worst thing to happen to HipHop was D.O.C.s car crash.
