i can't even begin to imagine him flowing over beats like 100 Miles & Runnin, Real nikkaz, nikkaz4life, One Less bytch, Shiznit, G'z & Hustlaz, nikka Witta Gun (that sounds like some DOC shyt!!) man there's so many beats the Doc could have spit over :ohlawd:
He was good over the beats he spit on but on them NWA tracks he would have been great if him and Ren would have tag teamed on them instead of him and Dre. Also he helped out with a lot of them classic Dre albums ghostwriting for a lot of people. Him and Ren penned the whole nikkaz album themselves. Snoop in his early days could not rap it has been well documented. DOC, RBX and Warren G had to help him with his lyrics, a lot but I am not taking nothing away from him. To answer the question though I am not a Snoop fan but I will go with DS on this one as stated it has stood the test of time. DOC was a great rapper no doubt but the album is good but I can do without a few tracks on it. I liked Dre's production back then when he was experimenting with the dark sounds like with Livin Like Hustlers and nikkaz album. He lost me with this G funk bullshyt.

oh yeah, the ghostwriting on those beats is phenomenal. when you actually think, dude has been writing on Dre beats for 25 years it would just be great to hear him spitting his own rhymes with his flows, concepts & ideas on those same beats.

i don't know about Warren G helping Snoop write rhymes, i've always just heard it was DOC. Warren can't even spell N-E-X-T lol

Warren G ghost wrote for both Snoop and Dre back in the day. Snoop went on record to say he helped him out alot with his early albums but Dre never gave him any credit since the so called falling out with him and G.

I take Snoop. Both great but DOC didnt age as well as Doggystyle
I can kinda see that if a person didn't hear No One Can Do It Better when it came out but as a person who did, it aged like fine wine. My favorite Dre produced album...along with the remix singles(Mind Blowin/Doc & The Doctor).

B-b-b-but....isn't the formula KINDA corny????? we thought so back east. i'm a whirlwind pyramid kinda guy myself. i even fukk with rock record to a degree. formula was always light to me.

you also must acknowledge other ghost writers like Kane, Puba etc...

ain't nothin' "corny" bout the formula or anythin' pertainin' to the no one can do it better album. everythin' on that album is classic, down to the album cover itself

oh yeah, kane and puba were great ghostwriters but i've enjoyed the d.o.c.'s ghostwritin' much more
